Kristin Bredes LaFemina is a respected sports media executive with more than 20 years of experience leading talent strategy, broadcast operations, and media innovation across the sports and entertainment industries. As Vice President of Production Management & Talent at Major League Soccer (MLS), Kristin oversees production operations and talent strategy for the league’s groundbreaking global media partnership with Apple.
Since joining MLS full-time in 2023 after serving as a consultant to the league, she has led production management and talent operations. Kristin oversees a multilingual, multinational roster of more than 100 on-air personalities, widely recognized as one of the most diverse broadcast teams ever assembled for a major sports league. Her leadership has played a key role in the success and continued growth of MLS’s landmark multiyear, multi-billion-dollar partnership with Apple.
Kristin played a central role in launching MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, leading talent operations for the platform’s debut and helping assemble a broadcast team that delivered coverage in English, Spanish, and French across more than 20 countries. She also led talent strategy for the inaugural Leagues Cup in 2023, a historic tournament featuring 47 clubs from MLS and Liga MX. Under her leadership, 120 announcers covered 77 matches across 29 cities in just 30 days, helping drive record engagement, audience growth, and the continued expansion of North American soccer.
Before joining MLS, Kristin worked at ICM from 2018 to 2022 and later at CAA from 2022 to 2023. There, she represented more than 50 high-profile clients across news, sports, and entertainment. She negotiated talent contracts, developed crossover opportunities, and coached on-air personalities to strengthen their presence and marketability. Her client roster included Steve Smith Sr., Julian Edelman, Kate Scott, Monica McNutt, Coy Wire, Steve Wyche, Dominick Cruz, and others.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions at CBS Sports, Pac-12 Networks, and Playbook Inc., where she specialized in talent development, recruitment, and management for premier sports properties and major live events, including the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four. Throughout her career, Kristin has built a reputation for identifying, developing, and elevating top broadcasting talent while delivering operational excellence at scale.
Beyond her executive leadership, she is a dedicated mentor and advocate for women in sports media. Kristin actively supports the next generation of broadcasters and industry leaders, helping emerging professionals navigate career growth, build their brands, and secure high-profile opportunities.
Kristin holds a B.S. in Film and Television from Boston University, is a 2025 WELI graduate, and is currently pursuing her MBA at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management.
